Session Description

The often overlooked, under utilized wall space provides great opportunities for better managing that horizontal space that always collects stuff. This session focuses on creating a unique hanging space that looks great and serves a purpose.

Product production, materials and shipping included.

Product parameters: 

• Quantity: 1 wall mounted shelving unit 
• Production method: 2D fabrication  
• Material type: Up to three different materials from stock list
• Material usage: Up to 16 square feet (4'x4') of material 
• Size per part: Within - 45"wide x 25"long x 1.25"thick 
• Overall weight: Under 20 pounds 

Parts not included:

• Hanging hardware 
• All hardware (ie. screws, hinges, bolts)
• Hooks

4-WEEK DESIGN SESSION

After purchase, you'll gain access to the session schedule. Here, you can choose your kickoff date and the design reviews you wish to participate in. Over the four weeks following the kickoff, you'll be guided through the design process. 

Phase 1: Discovery

During this phase, you'll have the chance to explore inspiration, research possibilities, and identify the goals you hope to achieve with your design.  

Outcome: Design considerations checklist and inspirational mood-board

Phase 2: Concept Ideation

During this phase, you'll start generating rough sketches that explore the form, scale and materials your product will incorporate. 

Outcome: Rough sketches, photo overlay and supply list  

Phase 3: Mechanical Drawings 

During this phase you'll iterate and refine your design. The first draft of a production file will be generated. 

Outcome: A draft production file of your design

Phase 4: Design Delivery 

During this phase, we'll finalize your design file and make any necessary changes to ensure accuracy during production. 

Outcome: Production ready file of your design 

After week four your design will be ready for production. The parts to your product will be sent to you within two weeks after the session’s end date.

Kickoffs: Join a Kickoff to start your 4-week session. At this time you will be introduced to the Think Make experience, fabrication process and gain access to all session materials.

Design Reviews: Design reviews are your opportunity to connect with others to get inspired, share your work for feedback and ask questions. During your 4-week session you can join as many design reviews as you'd like.

Wednesdays 6-7pm(EST)/3-4pm(PT) & 8:30-9:30pm(EST)/5:30-6:30pm(PT)

1:1 Individual Consulting - 15min slots by appointment: One-on-ones are intended for you to get in-depth feedback/ask questions about your design work and mechanical files. Note: For Self-Guided Session and in special cases a 1:1 may be requested to clarify any production issues.
